From the moment I heard about this concept, I was really intrigued by the idea of bringing a group of women together to donate money to make a substantial donation in Kingston.

When we say, "Together, supporting community" it's not just a tagline; I really believe in the power of that concept. Kingston is an amazing place to live - there are people who need assistance providing for the basic needs of themselves and their families right here in our own backyards and there are also people who want to help.

I believe, in showing people in need love and compassion, we can provide hope
for the future. It is this hope that creates a different life experience for everyone involved. 100+ Women Who Care Kingston is an opportunity to show our community that we care.

It's a simple but brilliant idea: A unique opportunity for the women of Kingston to come together to make a substantial and immediate difference in our community.

It makes me proud to live in a community that believes in the spirit of giving. I don't have the financial means to make such a monumental impact alone and I don't always make the time to always be an informed giver. 100+ Women Who Care Kingston has given me the opportunity to experience making positive changes to the lives of my neighbours as one of many by investing in some of Kingston's most worthwhile causes. As a small business owner, I understand how hard it can be to meet a bottom line, but I can't imagine the pressure and heartache that some of these community organizations experience when funding is low because people's lives really do depend on these services - we hear about it every meeting when charities who have received our group donation come back and, sometimes with tears in their eyes, share with us the impact of our donation. I can't imagine not being a Leading Lady. 100+ Women Who Care Kingston has introduced me to some of my dearest friends as well as some of the most incredibly generous people - be they 100+ members, volunteers, CEOs, or clients at local charities, or, of course, my fellow Leading Ladies <3
